Let’s face it, summers in southwest Florida can be really hot. If we are outside, we are almost always in the water, otherwise it’s just too hot to be outside. If you don’t have a pool, don’t worry! There are lots of places to cool off in Charlotte county.
You can always head to the beautiful Englewood Beach to soak up the sun and wade in the ocean. We love this beach! Plus they have a cute, shaded playground that the kids will love. Check out more pictures of the Englewood Beach Park here!
But sometimes it’s nice to leave the sand behind and head to the pool. There are lots of pools in Englewood, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda to choose from.
Be sure to check each website, as the hours of operation vary greatly by location and many of the schedules change season to season. Click on the links below for more information.
