It’s bookclub time again! This week we are studying earthworms. EWWWWWW! But it’s a great way to incorporate some learning. I was totally going to get dirty with this one and then I chickened out. Let’s face it, I don’t like dirt…or worms (I just said that in my best Olaf voice- did you hear it?)
Anyways, the book we are reading this week is called “Garden Wrigglers” by Nancy Loewen. It’s a good one!
We used brown paint to dip Maggie’s fingerprints in and then she lined her fingerprints up to make the earthworm’s body. Then we counted how many fingerprints long the earthworm was. It was a great way to get her to practice her counting (which she is getting pretty good at, by the way).
