The leaves don’t change colors here in beautiful Southwest Florida and it definitely isn’t sweater weather, so it can be hard to get into the fall mood. So we like to go to fall festivals in order to celebrate the season.
I had heard a lot of great things about Farmer Mike’s Fall Festival and Corn Maze over the years, so we decided to check it out and we had a great time! If you are looking for the whole fall experience, I highly suggest Farmer Mike’s Fall Festival. They have everything that a fall festival up north would have….besides cool weather.
So here is what to expect if you visit Farmer Mike’s Fall Festival…
Things to do at Farmer Mike’s Fall Festival
There were a lot of fun games and activities at Farmer Mike’s Fall Festival. They have a whole kids section with bounce houses and a mini hay maze.
They had these super cute pumpkin tic-tac-toe tables that I totally want to steal the idea and make my own!!
They also have this really duck race game. I think this was my kids favorite part.
And they have a tunnel slide where the kids can ride little trucks and bikes down.
If you don’t want to do the corn maze you can access this kids section for a cheaper admission price.
You can pick your own sunflowers! I have never seen this in Florida so this was a really for us to experience. Honestly, this was probably my favorite part of the whole festival.
And the sunflowers were only a dollar each!
The the corn maze was so fun. It was totally worth doing. If you are going to this Festival you definitely have to do the corn maze.
And and what’s really neat is they have one that is family friendly during the day… And it’s dinosaur themed so my son really loved it. And they also have one at night for older kids that is more scary.
We we didn’t do the scary maze so I don’t know too much about that one except it gets raving reviews. However we really enjoyed the family-friendly maze. It took us about a half hour, but they said it takes people anywhere from 5 minutes to a little over an hour to get through.
The the only downfall to the corn maze was that it was very hot the day we went so we were really thirsty after we got out. I don’t think there’s any rules about bringing your own drinks so I would highly suggest packing water.
Also also if my veteran Marine husband hadn’t been with us it would have taken us a lot longer to get out. It was a legit maze that was difficult to find our way through. But that’s all part of the fun!
There was a small section where you could pick your own pumpkins. And then they had a lot of pumpkins on display for sale for $0.89 a pound. If you want the whole effect you can pick your own pumpkins, but I am personally all about saving money so we just bought at Save-A-Lot for $1.99.
The hayride was fun. We saw a lot of their gardening areas and we even saw an alligator in one of the ditches!
I will be honest, I thought the price for the corn maze was a little high for admission. But we did the whole corn maze/Fall Festival ticket and it cost my family of four $60. We are on a budget so that was pretty high for us.
However, if you want the fall experience you are going to get it at Farmer Mike’s! So for us, it was worth it for a one-time experience. And they do have options for cheaper tickets where you can just do the kids activities and no corn maze.
Ticket prices are:
General Admission Ticket is $2, for all attendees that would like to enjoy the event and not plan on entering any special attractions like the corn maze. You get a free hayride with this ticket. (Kids 2 years and younger are free).
T-Rex Meets Triceratops Family-Friendly Corn Maze and hayride (non-haunted) is $12 per person. (Kids 2 years and younger are free).
Regular admission haunted corn maze is $20 per person. A skip the line fast pass ticket to the haunted corn maze is $40. Get tickets for the haunted corn maze at Farmer Mike’s here!
They also offer Zombie Paintball which is $20. There is also a fast pass ticket for Zombie Paintball that is $40. Get tickets for Zombie Paintball here.
They also have combo tickets for the haunted corn maze and zombie paintball for $35.
