There are a lot of fun ways to celebrate 4th of July in Port Charlotte at the Stone Crabs game on July 3rd. Or if you are looking for fireworks in Punta Gorda this list will definitely help you! Thursday, July 4th, 2019, Fishermen’s Village will host their annual 4th of July Celebration. Admission and parking are free and the public is cordially invited to attend. There will be live music from 12 noon-4 pm near Good ‘Ole Days Coffee. Viewing of annual fireworks display over Charlotte Harbor begins at 9:00 pm. King Fisher Fleet will be offering a Fireworks Cruise, departing at 7:30 pm and returning to Fishermen’s Village at 9:30 p.m.
The Annual Freedom Swim will begin at 2pm at Gilchrist Park on July 4th and ends at Harpoon Harry’s. (call 941 661-5622 for more Freedom Swim details) The Green Hibiscus Trolley will provide transportation between Fishermen’s Village and the swim starting point from 1-4 pm (no kayaks, and inflatables must be deflated). The trolley ride is free (tips are appreciated!)
Join us for a short jaunt around the town on the morning of July 4th. Bring your decorated golf cart to the side parking lot between Englewood Bank and the Old Theater Building at 9AM parade will start around 9:20AM

Come celebrate at the Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July parade makes it way down Estero Blvd. The parade starts at Bay Oaks Recreation Center at 10AM and continues down the boulevard to Times Square. Anyone interested in participating in the parade should call the Bay Oaks Rec Center at 239-765-4222.

Sarasota is the place to be for families. There are so many fun things to do with kids in Sarasota. And this time of year doesn’t disappoint! There are lots of 4th of July events in Sarasota. On July 4th at 9PM (or shortly after) the jetty will be closed for safety but the fireworks can be viewed on area beaches from Caspersen to Nokomis as well as from other places around Venice. Get more information about fireworks on Venice Island here.

Viewing area opens at 6:00 pm and fireworks start at dusk. The fireworks will go off just north of the volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intercoastal waterway.
Start your 4th of July out with a parade at 9AM. The parade lineup begins at 8:30 a.m. on Bay Isles Rd. Activities, food and drinks, children’s games all in Bicentennial Park, next to Town Hall, after the parade. 9AM-11AM.

This year the event will be held at a new location! It will be at the CoolToday Park. Gates will be open to the Public at 4:00 PM. Seating will be available both inside the stadium or outside on the Event Lawn. If watching the Fireworks Show from the Event Lawn, the public is welcome to bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the show. Available on the front event lawn of the stadium will be a children’s section which will include a variety of free activities and much more.
