It’s almost Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday! I love, love, love Thanksgiving. One tradition I am super excited about passing down to my little ones is watching the Macy’s Day Parade. I always watched it growing up and loved seeing all of the floats, marching bands, dancers, singers, and everything else!
This year I thought I would try to get Maggie to watch it (last year she was still too young and it was basically a disaster). I thought I would make it fun by making a scavenger hunt out of it.
It’s a great activity that you can do with your child (especially if they cannot read- you will have to read it to them). You can use a crayon to mark off the things you have seen in the parade.
Or if you have more than one child, you could make it into a game- whoever finds four in a row or all of them first. Sort of like BINGO.
AND, you can download this scavenger hunt for free!
Even if you don’t watch the Macy’s Day parade, you can still use this printable for other parades you see!
