Do you ever have moments with your children and family where you just can’t even express how much you love them because it is so, so, so much? I guess, we love them that much all the time…but there are moments when I just love them and I don’t want to let go of the moment.
I like to call these “Bottle Up Moments.”
Bottle up moments are when I just want to bottle up every aspect of the moment.
I want to bottle up my feelings, the smells, the happiness, what I see and keep it all in my memory…
Bottle up moments.
Some of my recent bottle up moments:
♥ The kids and I were seperated from my husband for a month and when we were finally reunited Maggie said “daddy” in every single sentence. “Can you get my daddy some water?” “Daddy, I love you.” “Daddy come here and play with me.” “Do you like my doll, daddy?” It was so adorable and cute…I just wanted to bottle it up and keep that moment for ever.
♥ Sometimes I will have Charlie on his back and I will be up above him making faces and talking to him and he puts his little hands on my cheeks and tries to pull me in to ….well, eat my face….but, ya’ll, it’s the sweetest, cutest, most loveable moment a mom could ask for. I just want to squeeze him!
♥ There are days that Maggie is difficult. Oh, who am I kidding, she’s three years old, every day is difficult. But when I lay with her at night and she puts her arm around me and says, “I wuv (love) you, mommy,” I completely forget about the 17 tantrums she threw that day and nothing else matters.
