My kid’s grandparents are THE BEST! They spoil Maggie and Charlie and love, love, love them unconditionally. My kids never go without because of their grandparents.
Because my kids are celebrated every day by their grandparents, I think it is only fair that the grandparents get a special day of celebration.
We live far from my husband’s parents, so they won’t get to hug and kiss on the kids on grandparents day….so we decided to send kisses to them through snail mail.
We blew kisses through snail mail! First I started with getting the kid’s handprints. Maggie did much better with this than Charlie. Charlie screamed and Maggie laughed- wow are they different personalities.
After the handprints dried I cut them out.
I used scrapbook paper that was 12×12 and cut them in half to make the main card. You can use flowers or patterns, or just do a plain color.
I decided to use a plain color for the handprint kisses. I did pink for Maggie’s and blue for Charlie’s.
I folded the blue and pink papers in half and then Maggie helped me glue one half of it down and then we glued the kid’s pictures inside the folded sheets and the handprints on the outside.
Then I used microsoft word to print out the words “Blowing You a Kiss!” and “Happy Grandparents Day!” I then cut them out and glued them to our card.
