My family and I are on a budget. This means I have a certain amount of money per month to spend on groceries. It’s super hard and I have gone over the budget several times. My husband I finally sat down to see how we can make our budget work and we decided to start meal planning. We plan meals for every dinner of the week and also buy for breakfasts and dinners.
We decided we needed to post it in the kitchen where we could see it because sometimes my husband wouldn’t know I was saving various items for dinner and would eat them by accident. So I made a meal planning menu frame and hung it in the kitchen.
I painted the frame with an orange-ish color paint that I picked up from Home Depot. Sometimes they have paints on the side of the counter that people changed their minds about and they are half off. I got this one for 50 cents, and it worked perfectly!
Then I made the “days of the week” prints WHICH I am giving you as a free printable! Whoop! Whoop!
I decided to go with the green and orange theme, so I used different green and orange colored scrapbook paper and covered the background with it. Then I cut and taped the days of the week over top of the scrapbook paper. This is the finished product:
Happy Meal Planning!
